These are all I have so far. Al was super awesome to take these great photos and burn them to a CD for me! I'm really excited to see all the other amazing pics I had taken from some great photographers!

Even Kimmie and Franklin loved him...and they're cats!

He was the toughest guinea pig I have ever seen and the first animal I ever had to have put down. He went through so much, and now he doesn't have to be in pain anymore. Have fun eating mounds of your red leaf lettuce in piggy heaven buddy <3 We'll miss you.

After all this happiness and returning to work with fun stories for everyone, I found out that a lady I care about a lot from work has a brain tumor. ;_; I was so upset and shocked, and I happened to find out through just overhearing a conversation about how she was doing after brain surgery. It's just shocking and sad. I mean, on wednesday when I left, she was thinking she had the flu...she didn't feel well. THEN I come back and she's had brain surgery!?
I visited her today, and she's feeling okay, and is as cute as ever with her little perky personality. They think they got all of the tumor, but we still don't know if it was cancer or not. I'm guessing since she didn't say anything that it may be....;_; or maybe she doesn't know? It's just sickening. She's too great of a person for this to happen to her. it's not fair. We just lost someone in the lab to a brain tumor a few weeks ago. This is so scary....so much cancer in the lab going around. >_>

It's pretty sad that I feel that I can NOT say who I voted for, because I know some people are this friends list would "defriend" me or no longer consider me a friend. Also, if you have anything on your livejournal about DEFRIENDING you because you didn't vote..guess what! i'm doing just that, unfriending you. Yes, voting is very important, and yes, I voted...BUT if you are going to cut a FRIENDSHIP off because of something we have the right to do or not to do, then I'm not sure it's worth my time to even be a friend of yours. I kind of like to have friends I know will stick around and are accepting of other peoples' decisions. If I did something else you didn't beleive in, would I still be your friend?

I get very bitter about this type of thing, and I actually got booted out of some peoples' lives because who I voted for last election. RIDICULOUS.

OMG. Why are cats made to be so cute? I can't get anything done half the time, becuase Frank and Kimmie are so cute that I just want to hug them like all the timeeeeee. If I don't get my costumes done for Dragon Con, or show up to work, or remember to eat, it's becuase of THEM! lolz.

Frank is just sitting on my floor next me while i work on cosplay stuff, and his little rolls and spready toes are so distracting!

Man I have a lot going on right now! I worked evenings last week, so I missed  doing the DIY Cosplay hour on Otakulife radio, but according to the station manager, there were like 1000 listeners waiting this wednesday! He played a previous show, so it should of been okay. I hope there are that many this next week! I was off work today, and i've been working really hard to help redesign the radio station into their new name: WOLR Radio FM onto the new domain. I'm working getting contests up and running, layout adjustments, and it's very likely now that Neon Genocide and I will be going to Anime NEXT. I actually have a new costume ready oddly enough! So who all is going??

If any of you who are going would be interested in participating in a live cosplay-related broadcast from the convention with us, please let me know! It won't take more than an hour TOPS, and it'll probably be in the format of a laid back discussion about the costumes you brought, what you're doing at the convention..that sort of thing.

We're also hoping to do a panel for help with making cosplays that will be broadcast live if they still have any saturday slots left...so please attend if you can! I'm thinking i'm going to bring props, costume peices, and stuff like that...and just walk around with it and explain how I made it and techniques i've learned and all that. 

I'm also really excited to be getting involved with a new ghost hunting group called Ghost Soilders. They have a lot of really neat trips planned out like an old mansion, and a navy ship in Baltimore Harbor for an overnight stay, and have invited me to come along- Thanks to one our friends who is in it! I just hope I don't work the weekend they happen. ;_; I'll be so disappointed!! 

Bah I have to work tomorrow morning. Health careers suck. =\

THE DETAILS:
Okay, so I was talking to Ayanamilisa on AIM last night, and we both got really excited about the idea of doing a My Little Pony Group. Basically the idea is to create whatever style you want to represent a specifical My little Pony - the only things that would really need to a part of everyone's costumes would be: the tail, pony ears, and probably some sort of legging/shoe that gives the impression of a hoof. I don't want just a bunch of lolitas - I want creative designs that represent a pony! I know...this is sort of weird, and dorky..but it would be SO fun to get a HUGE group of people together for this!

We were planning to get it together for this next Katsucon if at all possible. ALL PEOPLE ARE WELCOME TO JOIN IN FOR THE FUN!! EVEN MALES! There ARE male ponies (even tho they are a little feminine still, haha). In fact, i'm trying to convince Josh to do it...and he is reluctant which is to be expected lmao.

Basically I just want everyone to have fun and be creative...I think it has the potential to be SO fun and unique..and funny and weird and all that fun stuff that cosplay SHOULD be!

So to help people pick what they'd like to do, I did upload a LOT of pictures i've gathered of the different characters, and they are here.

Also if you have friends that want to join, that's cool too! Literally anyone, I don't even have to know them! I want to overrun Katsucon with a burst of colors and cause a scene of retarded 80's confusion! lmao.

And oh yeah, I got an email this weekend asking Josh and I to be cosplay guests at the upcoming T-Mode 2007 convention in Arlington Virginia! It's September 14-16. It's a new convention that looks like it's going to be a ton of fun! So anyone in that area should try and check it out!

We are featured cosplayers for their Final Fantasy Ball and also will be juding the cosplay contest as well as running a panel. We're really looking forward to it, and it'll be a nice break from working. I know for sure we'll be taking Edea and Seifer, and I'm really hoping to have Balthier and Penelo done for us by then, but with everything that is going on I never know what new costumes I'll have done and when!

Upon Megan's wise wise advice...I shall UNLEASH THE AZTEC FOR MY FRIENDS LIST!!!!!!
